Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English, the other half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. His father is an Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish as well as English descent. Taylor Joy has four siblings. One of them is in each parent's previous marriages. They resided at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she was unable to study English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to enroll her. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At 16, she left school in order to explore acting as a profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to be an actor and her dream came true when she was given an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
