Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor director producer, and vocalist. She is a beautiful and knowledgeable actor, she is an inspiration to many Asian actors who aspire to be successful in Hollywood. The actress gained notoriety after several popular characters in television series. The most notable was the Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. It was a moment of fame that led to films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She delivered a stunning performance in the role of Japanese gangster O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. In this period she was the main character in several flops in the field like Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she became an actor in voice for animated movies, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small screen characters, failed to achieve any kind of success. Southland was a highly acclaimed police show that Liu played frequently, was a role which allowed her to be a renowned actress. Liu chooses her roles with care to ensure she is not a victim of such a competitive field. Although she is proud of her heritage, she does not let the fact that she is from China limit her creative abilities.
