
American actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen was born on 16 February 1989 in Sherman Oaks California. Born in Sherman Oaks, California, Olsen started acting at the age of four. After appearing in Martha Marcy May Marlene's thriller, Olsen received praise and was nominated for the Critics Choice Film Award. The film was later followed by Silent House. Olsen received a nomination from the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2011, and graduated two years later from New York University. Olsen was acknowledged for her performance as the character Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media. She appeared in the films of superheroes Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Captain America: Civil War (2016). Her role in WandaVision was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a mystery film Wind River (2017). She executive produced and starred in the drama series Sorry for Your Loss (2018-2019), winning a Critics' Pick Television Award nomination for her role as a widow.
